ثم التفتت تسأل مساعده
ــ هل ترغب في تناول اي شيء ؟
حمل صوته الكثير من القلق و هو يجيب
ــ ليس الان
رفعت عينيها إلى الأمام ، في فضول لمعرفة ما يقلقه ، و اتسعت عيناها في دهشة ، مع صوت قائد الطائرة ، و هو يقول في توتر
ــ ما هذا بالضبط ؟
كانت هناك سحابة حمراء بلون الدم ، تعترض طريق الطائرة ، التي حاول قائدها الانخفاض بها ، للمرور من أسفل تلك السحابة المخيفة ، فهتف مساعده
ــ إنها تنخفض معنا
أجابه الطيار ، و شهقة المضيفة تزيده توترا
ــ لا مفر إذن
كان يشير إلى انه ما دامت لا توجد وسيلة لتجاوز تلك السحابة ، فالحل الوحيد هو اختراقها ، مع السرعة التي تنطلق بها الطائرة
كان مساعده يحاول الاتصال بأقرب مطار ، يمكن الهبوط فيه اضطراريا ، عندما هتف بكل توتره ــ الاتصالاات كلها مقطوعة
قالها في نفس اللحظة التي غاصت فيها الطائرة ، وسط السحابة الحمراء ، فاصطبغ كل شيء في كابينة القيادة باللون الأحمر ، مما جعل القائد يقول للمضيفة في صرامة
ــ اذهبي إلى الركاب .. إنهم يحاجون إليك
غادرت كابينة القيادة ، لتجد ذلك الضوء الأحمر يغمر الطائرة ، مع حالة من الاضطراب و التوتر الشديد بين الركاب ، فالتقطت نفسا عميقا في محاولة لتهدئة انفعالاتها ، و أعصابها الثائرة ، و هي ترسم على شفتيها ابتسامة زائفة ، قائلة:
ــ لا داعي للخوف .. هذه ظاهرة طبيعية ، تحدث في تلك المنطقة .. أغلقوا النوافذ فحسب ، و سيكون كل شيء على ما يرام
كان صوتها على الرغم منها ، يحمل كل توترها و انفعالاتها ، مما جعل أحد الركاب يصرخ فيها في عصبية
ــ لقد قطعت هذه الرحلة أكثر من عشر مرات ، و لم ألحظ هذه الظاهرة العجيبة مرة واحدة
